I am not going to tell you some kind of story about me being 'the largest German Antiques Seller on the net' or anything like that..;-))...I am only doing this as a hobby to be able to finance my own hobby...my sales are all open, everything is shown and I try to explain things to the best of my knowledge, nothing is hidden!!! Should there be any conflicts, then these will be dealt with in a professional and curtuous manner and I expect likewise from anyone that corresponds with me. So, as you should do with all other militaria sellers, have a look at the items on offer, read through the descriptions, look at the pictures (all my items are always shown with pics of what they are!), if you can, then check the seller's feedback (you can see my feedback on ebay for ebay seller id German.Militaria) and find out about a seller's reputation on the various collector community forums, ask questions if you are not sure about something and most importantly of all, make up your own mind about the item being offered.

2. Payment

Payments may be in Cash, check (no Euros cheques), money order or paypal (US$ only, and please make one payment only for the total amount due, not individual payments for individual items)? I have bank accounts in the USA, Germany and in the UK....paypal is accepted, but is NOT my preferred option, due to the charges and fees involved. I will not charge any additional fees (including paypal payments) for any of the above options.

If you find the item to be other than described by me, then please just let me know and I am sure that we can sort things out to all our satisfaction. My aim is to ensure that all of my customers are happy in dealing with me and that they come back for more original German Militaria.

6. Shipping

I will ship the item from the UK via Royal Mail Airmail (uninsured) for items upto 2kg in weight (UK shipments will go First Class mail). Do you require a different method of shipping/insurance? Surface mail outside of Europe is significantly cheaper, but does take much longer and is less secure, so it would be at your own risk! Items are shipped no more than 7 days from receipt of payment. Insurance to all Countries outside of the UK is available with 'SIGNED FOR' service. This service is only available with Airmail and costs $7 extra (insured upto $45) and another $4 insures upto $300 to $700 depending on the country)...ceramics and glass items cannot be insured.

7. Bank Wire Transfers

I accept Euro transfer into my German bank account + US ($ dollars) transfers into my US bank account and Pounds Sterling transfers into my UK bank account. No other transfers can be accepted.

8. Currency Exchange Rates

I do take payments in Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or in Euros at the following exchange rates of US$1.60 = £1.00 and US$1.30 = 1 Euro and £1.00 = 1.10 Euros.

Please note, that I use a fixed exchange rate, as advertised in my current ebay listings to convert amounts due from US Dollars to Pounds Sterling and I do not use the rates published by ebay or the like..my rates are more closely linked to the actual rates having to be paid by you and/or me when exchanging our cash at the bank or travel agent....the above stated exchange rates are used for converting the item prices into pounds sterling only and they may not be used to convert postage costs into other currencies.

I review and adjust exchange rates regularly. The exchange rates published by me at the time of your invoice apply (these may be different from the exchange rates at the time of your order).
