 Product Description

Original. Lot from the same man, who served with RAF 261 Squadron in Burma for most of the war. This was my wife's grandfather and I guarantee that all of this belongs together. The lot includes four WW2 medals + a portrait photo of him + a unit photo with two planes taken in Burma + the menu of the farewell dinner of 261 Squadron + the Squadron Commander orders from September 1946 about the Squadron having being ordered to be disbanded + his RAF Service & Release book. A very nice lot. I never met him, but his favourite catch phrase when handing parachutes out to aircrew was 'Just return it, if it does not work' ;-)
