This is a massive, original and rather scarce East German book from 1970. The book entirely consists of black/white and color photographs of the various main cities of the GDR, like Berlin, Magdeburg and Dresden. It shows the GDR state leadership visiting other state leaders around the world to underline the acceptance and the importance of the GDR internationally. Part of the book is also a separate booklet that has all of the captions to the photos in English, French, Russian and Spanish language.  This is a massive book. The book has a total of 240 numbered pages. The book is hardback and measures 12 1/4” x 9 1/8”. Unpacked weight is 1.42kg! Used condition.  Original dust jacket.
