 Product Description

Professionally mounted on conservation paper, this passport was issued by Brigido von Bresowiz in Trieste on 25th January 1797 and is hand signed by him. Several other notes on the back as well as some embossed seals that are also all dated 1797. I would assume that those are notes from when the bearer of the passport crossed borders. The passport is written in German and was issued in the name of Francis II, the Austro-Hungarian Holy Roman Emperor. Overall size is 22 1/2" x 16 1/4".

The last sample pic shows the man that issued and signed this passport and here you can read a little more information about him https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pompejus_Brigido_von_Bresowitz?fbclid=IwAR0cNYuNGChZu5RseWAJzBKRY4fGGCMj5E9gbgCYGuD-mozlfjd8vbvXCmE
