Original. Measures 7/8" long. Small chip on the enamel.
This is a vintage membership badge from the Evangelische Frauenhilfe (Protestant Women's Aid), a historical German women's social and charitable church organization dating from the early-to-mid 20th century (Weimar Republic / pre-WWII era).
- Design: Features deep blue enamel on a square base with rounded corners, a central white-enamelled Christian cross, and the raised lettering reading Evangelische Frauenhülfe (an older spelling with a "ü").
- Function: Worn as a lapel pin or membership badge by women participating in the organization's community welfare, nursing, and church aid work
