Original German book from 1941 about Narvik in Norway.  About the area, the people, the fighting that took place there, the men that took part in the fighting and so on.  There are a huge number of photographs within the book, in fact there are a total of 127 photographs, and a small number of sample photos are shown below.  The photos also very nicely concentrates on German Kriegsmarine, Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper), Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe and Gebirgsjäger (Mountain Troops).  There are also quite a few shots of General Dietl and other Wehrmacht leaders in Norway.  The book is hardback and it has a total of 150 numbered pages.  The book measures 10 3/4" x 8".  Unpacked weight of the book is 0.72kg. Used condition.  This particular book is a very scarce FIRST EDITION (1st to 100th thousand). Some wear from age and use.
